Riverwoods at Tollgate Celebrates Grand Opening

On April 29th Riverwoods at Tollgate held its Grand Opening to celebrate the completion of a garden-style apartment community in Abingdon, Maryland. The newest apartment complex in Harford County serves a great need in the community by providing affordable, high-quality homes to families in the Abingdon area.
Riverwoods at Tollgate consists of 84 units, including both affordable and market rate two- and three-bedroom apartments. Of the 84 units, 64 are part of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LITCH) program, 13 units have been set aside for applicants who qualify for CDA’s Section 811 program and nine units are non-income restricted market rate units.
Each apartment home includes modern features including two full bathrooms in each apartment, energy efficient black appliances, wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedrooms and low-maintenance plank flooring in the kitchen and living areas. Handicap accessible apartments are also available.
Amenities include a spacious clubhouse that houses the leasing office, central laundry room, fitness room, and community lounge equipped with a cyber cafe, and television. The community is convenient to Route 40 and the I-95 corridor. Located behind a shopping center, Riverwoods a Tollgate is located within walking distance to a Target, Walmart, PetSmart, Lowes, a movie theatre, restaurants and banking.
Many honorable guests spoke during the celebration and the grand opening concluded with the traditional Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
